At its heart is a thrilling 889cc parallel-twin, producing approximately 105PS and 100Nm of torque. Tuned with ride-by-wire throttle, a slipper clutch, and a six-speed gearbox, it delivers linear power with instant deliveryideal for trail carving and highway surges.
Built around a high-strength chromium-molybdenum steel frame with engine-mounted rigidity, the 890 Adventure R rides on bold WP XPLOR Pro suspension: 43mm open-cartridge inverted forks and an adjustable rear shock, giving 240mm of front and 220mm of rear travel for comfort and control down rocky descents or gravel sweeps.
Its 21 front and 18 rear black-wire-spoke wheels wear aggressive off-road tyres, with a ground clearance of around 260mm for tackling rough terrain. A larger 20liter rally-style tank ensures formidable range, while a rugged skid plate and hand guards protect vital components.
Stopping power is carried by dual 320mm front discs with Brembo four-piston calipers and a 260mm rear disc. Cornering ABS, switchable off-road ABS, traction control, ride modes, and a powerful 48mm steering damper bolster both confidence and control.
Designed for serious adventure, the bike features a full-color 5 TFT display with optional smartphone integration, cruise control, quickshifter capability, and selectable ride modes including Street, Sport, Rain, and OffRoad.
